Wahiawā Center for Community Health announced they achieved special recognition as an Age-Friendly Health System — Committed to Care Excellence for their ongoing efforts to ensure appropriate care for all older adults they serve.

As part of Wahiawā Health’s commitment to meeting the needs of the community, the federally qualified health center recently opened a school-based health center for students at Kaʻala Elementary School in Wahiawā.

As part of Wahiawā Health’s commitment to meeting the needs of the community, the federally qualified health center recently opened a school-based health center for students at Ka’ala Elementary School in Wahiawā. The health center is conveniently located at the Ka’ala Elementary campus, located at 130 California Avenue, and demonstrates the collaborative approach between school administration, parents, teachers, school counselors and the health room.

Wahiawā Health is offering school and sports physicals, immunizations and tuberculosis (TB) clearance for students in preschool, K-12 and those entering college.

Wahiawā Health announced the achievement of Dr. Marko Vasic who was named a Certified Hypertension Clinician through the American Hypertension Specialist Certification Program.

Wahiawā Center for Community Health announced the addition of Dr. Kailey Hifumi to the Wahiawā Health Pharmacy team. The Wahiawā Health Pharmacy is a non-profit, 340B pharmacy exclusively for its patients to provide integrated medication management, prescription accuracy and convenience.
