June Faiva attended Fa’asao Marist High School in American Samoa where she grew up. She went on to earn her Associates of Applied Science degree in medical assisting from Heald College. Faiva has served as a medical assistant and receptionist for the private practice of Dr. Birendra S. Huja in Honolulu, as well as at the Waianae Coast Comprehensive Health Center. Working with patients across the island has given her a well-rounded view of the health needs of our community. A resident of Ewa Beach, Faiva enjoys spending her free time with family, exploring the hiking trails of Oahu, and reading.
