Haunani Louis, APRN

Family Nurse Practitioner and School Health Partnership Lead

Haunani Louis brings over 16 years of nursing experience to Wahiawā Health. Born and raised in Pahala, on Hawai‘i Island, Haunani is a graduate of Kamehameha Schools and a two-time Native Hawaiian Health Scholarship recipient. She earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Hawai‘i Pacific University and her master’s degree in nursing from the University of Southern California. Haunani is a board-certified family nurse practitioner with a deep passion for helping her patients achieve a healthy state of being. 

Haunani worked at The Queen’s Medical Center in the labor and delivery and emergency departments, and at the Ko‘olauloa Health Center in Hau‘ula. In her free time, Haunani enjoys visiting her family’s ranch on the Big Island and giving back to her community through malama ‘aina by cleaning lo‘i and local fishponds. She also mentors Native Hawaiian health scholars to support aspiring students in the health care field.
