Dr. Anthony Castro is passionate about expanding access to compassionate dental care for Wahiawā families and their keiki, a passion rooted in his experiences growing up in a low‑income, underserved community. In his role as Dental Director for Wahiawā Health’s new Mobile Dental Clinic, he leads an innovative program designed to reduce barriers to care and support long‑term oral health for local keiki.

He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from UC Santa Barbara and his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from UC San Francisco. He completed advanced, hospital‑based training through a General Practice Residency at the Veterans Affairs Puget Sound in Seattle, preparing him for comprehensive, community‑oriented clinical care.

Outside of work, he loves exploring Hawai’i with his wife, Samantha, a military dentist, and their dachshund, Peanut. He considers it a profound privilege to help build a healthier future for the keiki and families of Wahiawā through this transformative mobile dental program.
