Clinical Pharmacist, Diabetes Self-Management Education & Support (DSMES) Program Coordinator and Educator

Dr. Rachel Randall received her Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Hawaiʻi at Hilo and a Bachelor of Science degree in food science and human nutrition from the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa. She is board certified in advanced diabetes management and pharmacotherapy specialties. Prior to joining Wahiawā Health, she was an inpatient clinical pharmacist at Pali Momi Medical Center and completed her pharmacy practice residency at Hawai‘i Pacific Health. Her professional passions focus on diabetes management and chronic disease care in rural communities.

At Wahiawā Health, Rachel provides education and support for diabetes prevention, diabetes self-management, hypertension, and blood pressure cuff training sessions with patients via telehealth and in-person visits. She earned her tobacco treatment specialist training certification from the University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School and provides patient guidance on tobacco cessation. In her free time, she volunteers with the Medical Reserve Corps and enjoys long-distance ocean swimming, surfing, hiking, and cooking. She lives in Kāneʻohe with her loving animals (Kingsley, Sam, Dean, and Bruno).
