Kuʻuleikūponookealoha Nāahiʻelua, Ph.D., MCSO, APRN-Rx, AGNP-C, BC-ADM, PMHNP-BC
Psychiatry and Diabetes Specialist

Kuʻulei obtained her Ph.D. in Mind-Body Medicine with a specialization in Integrative Mental Health with the vision to integrate multicultural and spiritual perspectives to decrease the gap in care experienced by indigenous populations. She is a fellow of the Academy of Integrative Health and Medicine and has completed fellowships with the Integrative Psychiatry Institute where she has expanded her training to incorporate therapeutics and modalities to address the mind, body, and spirit. She is passionate about Native Hawaiian health and bridging the gap between the advances in both psychiatric and diabetic specialties within low-income communities and providing quality patient care and cutting-edge medicine to patients who would otherwise not have access. She seeks to empower and equip her patients with comprehensive knowledge to improve their health and well-being integrating a holistic approach to care. Her vision for the future of healthcare on Oʻahu in underserved populations led her to complete her second master’s degree in Clinical Service Operations at Harvard Medical School.
