Ken Navarrete, Pharm D

Dr. Ken Navarrete received his Doctor of Pharmacy from Daniel K. Inouye College of Pharmacy at the University of Hawai‘i at Hilo in May 2014. He previously served as pharmacy manager at Foodland Pharmacy, where he conducted wellness screenings measuring body mass index (BMI), blood pressure, blood sugar (HbA1c), glucose, and lipid counts in partnership with Hawai‘i Pacific Health. Ken is certified in community pharmacy-based point-of-care testing (POCT) and immunization administration. He also has worked alongside community physicians, nurse practitioners and patients recommending and introducing nicotine replacement therapy. He enjoys spending time with his family, fishing, and hunting.
