Russell Taira

Russell is the executive director of contracts and materials management for Hawaii Health Systems Corporation that has a number of locations throughout the Hawaiian Islands. Russell is a resident of Mililani and has been involved in the community through several organizations as a board member, coach and volunteer for baseball, soccer, and cheer. He volunteers with the Girl Scouts and Boy Scout. He previously served on the advisory board of the Group Purchase Organization, an entity that helps healthcare providers realize savings, efficiencies and negotiating discounts. He is a graduate of Creighton University in Omaha, Neb. with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology and a minor in math.
